Basics
Prediction Market
A platform where people buy and sell predictions about future events.
The price of something is really about how likely it's that something will happen. The price reflects the probability of the event because that is what people are willing to pay for it.
So when we talk about the price we are talking about the probability of the event.
Market
A specific question you can make a prediction on.
For example: "Will Bitcoin be above $100,000 by December 31?"
Outcome
A possible result of the event.
In most markets, this is:
YES
NO
Binary Market
A market with two possible outcomes — YES or NO.
Price & Probability
Price
The current cost of one contract.
For example if we have 0.65 USDC this means that there is a 65 percent chance of something happening with the USDC. So when we talk about 0.65 USDC we are really talking about the probability associated with the USDC, which's 65 percent.
Probability
The likelihood of an event happening, represented by the price.
Odds
Another way to express probability.
The lower the probability, the higher the potential return.
Trading

Your profit = 0.70 USDC
